2026 Taiwan LPGA Tour | KGI BANK TLPGA Futures 21 – 23 Apr Second-Round Recap
Date:2026-04-22

An Ho-Yu (安禾佑) and Shih Cheng-Hsuan (石澄璇), who started the day tied for second, carded matching low rounds of 65 today to seize a three-stroke lead at the KGI BANK TLPGA Futures, sitting at 11-under par 133.

First-round leader Lu Yun-Ping (盧芸屏) struggled to score on the front nine but salvaged her round with four birdies on the back. Despite a late bogey resulting in a 69, she sits in a tie for third at 8-under alongside Yang Ya-Pin (楊亞賓), who posted a steady 68 today.

An Ho-Yu relied on several clutch birdie putts to secure her 65. "My irons were sharp, giving me plenty of looks, and I was able to capitalize them on the greens," she said. "The 17th was a bit frustrating because the back-left pin placement made it hard to stop the ball where I wanted. I left the hole with a three-putt. But overall, I kept my putting distance very short, which made me feel relaxed all day."

Shih Cheng-Hsuan was fairly dominant on the greens, needing only 24 putts. "My long game was much better today. I only missed one fairway, and my approach shots were consistently close to the flag," Shih said. "I’m hoping to carry this momentum into tomorrow and secure another title."

Lu Yun-Ping found it difficult to read the grain and speed of the greens early on, leaving her birdieless through the first nine. Despite her struggles with the putter, she remained steady, conceding only one bogey on the 17th to stay within striking distance at 8-under 136.

Yang Ya-Pin delivered a bogey-free performance but felt her attacking momentum stalled on the back nine. "My green rate was actually higher than yesterday, but I wasn’t leaving myself too many close chances," Yang said. "I think my execution wasn’t as precise toward the end, and my focus slipped a bit."

This week’s backdrop, Sunrise Golf & Country Club, is a cornerstone of Taiwanese golf. As the nation’s first premier training base, it has served as a center for the Asian Games and Universiade squads, functioning as a vital launchpad for elite players heading to the international stage.

The 2026 KGI BANK TLPGA Futures runs from April 21 to 23. Thursday’s champion will take home a winner’s check of NT$263,000.
